This includes a collection of games such as Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes, Darknet, Drift, and Starchart, along with an unspecified discount on purchasing the Gear VR itself.
Edge feeds ensure you get information like notifications or S Health data via the edge screen. You can also use Edge lighting so that if the phone is face down, you’ll know who is calling by the colour of the edge screen – this only works for contacts in the People edge though but at least both sides now light up instead of the one with the handle. A call from anyone not on your People edge simply lights up green.
As for pricing and availability, Samsung will be exclusively selling the Gear VR at Samsung Experience Stores throughout the country. (Plaza Lowyat, Setia City Mall, The Gardens Mall, 1Utama Shopping Centre, Pavilion KL, Suria KLCC, Mid Valley Megamall, Sunway Pyramid, Gurney Paragon Penang, Gurney Plaza Penang, Sutera Mall Johor, and City Square Johor). The Gear VR Innovator Edition will be sold at these outlets for RM 799 and stocks are said to be limited.
Also I’m not sure I’d want to wear Gear VR for three straight hours anyway. Gear VR is pretty comfortable as far as a headset goes. It’s a little heavy, but the over-the-top headstraps support it pretty well. That and the face cushioning is, well, cushy. It beats the hell out of Google Cardboard (duh) but I can’t compare it directly to using an Oculus for hours on end as I’ve only been lucky enough to try those for a few minutes at a time. The Gear VR will leave you with telltale (and temporary) red marks on your nose if you use it for more than like 5 minutes at a stretch, though. Wooooooorth it.
